We refer to our announcements dated 25 September 2000 and 3 October 2000 and the Exchange’s letter dated 4 October 2000 in relation to the Proposed Group Restructuring Scheme.

In this respect, on behalf of RHB Sakura, we are pleased to furnish the Exchange with the following additional information as provided by RHB Capital:-

(1) Proposed Transfer of Securities Businesses

The proposed issue price of RM3.80 per RHB Securities Berhad ("RHB Securities") share pursuant to the above-mentioned transaction was arrived at by RHB Capital based on the theoretical value of RHB Securities after taking into account the proposed transfer value of RHB Sakura to RHB Bank at 1.78 times the net tangible assets value at completion date which was arrived at on a willing buyer willing seller basis after taking into account the independent valuation of RHB Sakura.

This announcement is dated 6 October 2000.
