Encik Azmin bin Che Yusoff started his career in Kontena Nasional Sdn Bhd in 1982 as an Accounts Executive and eventually as Chief Executive Officer from 2003 to 2008. Soon after, he joined Landbridge Haulage (M) Sdn Bhd as Executive Director, Finance. In September 2009, he joined UMW Group as Executive Director of the Group Financial Services Division and was promoted to the position of Group Chief Operating Officer in October 2015.

However, Encik Azmin will continue to assume the position of Group Chief Operating Officer of UMW Group until his retirement on 30 June 2019.
