The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements in relation to the Proposed Change of Company Name.

We refer to the earlier announcements dated 23 February 2021 and 7 May 2021 in relation to the Proposed Change of Company Name.

Amid the evolving COVID-19 situation and following with the implementation of the Movement Control Order 3.0 (MCO) by the Government of Malaysia to curb the surge of COVID-19 outbreak, Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) had closed its offices on 1 June 2021 until further announcement by the Government of Malaysia.

Due to the above, the Company was not able to submit the necessary documents to CCM to effect on the Change of Company name. 

In view thereof, the Company had, on 14 June 2021, submitted an application to the Companies Commission of Malaysia to seek its approval for an extension of reservation of the proposed name "Vinvest Capital Holdings Berhad" for a period of 60 days until 18 August 2021.
