Further to our announcement on 31 January 2000, we wish to clarify that:-

  1. Only a Notice pursuant to Section 218 of the Companies Act, 1965 had been served on Anson Perdana Berhad ("Anson") by Tenggara Cement Marketing Sdn Bhd and not a petition for winding-up; and
  2. A petition for winding-up had been served on Anson's 60% owned subsidiary, Prodeal Sdn Bhd, by Sunway Keramo Sdn Bhd.
