We refer to your letter dated 4 April 2000 on the above matter and wish to advise as follows:
(1) there is no material development in the Company's business and affairs not previously disclosed. The proposed rights issue announced on 29 June 1999 and approved by the Securities Commission on 9 November 1999 is pending implementation;
(2) the Company has not received any notice of any impending change in the major shareholders.
(3) the Company is not aware of any reasons which account for the unusual market action and
The Company declares that, apart from the proposed rights issue which has been announced, no further situation/events as listed in Section 335 of the KLSE Listing Requirements have arisen.
