| Working experience and occupation | Datuk Lee joined HSBC Bank (M) Berhad as an Executive and went on to become an accomplished banker with approximately 38 years of experience in the banking industry. His last position held in HSBC Bank (M) Berhad was as the Managing Director of Strategic Business Development prior to his retirement on 30 June 2013.
In his capacity as Managing Director of Strategic Business Development, Datuk Lee was instrumental in developing new businesses with the Malaysian Government at both federal and state levels, particularly in promoting HSBC Islamic banking products. He has been assisting government agencies, major Government Linked Companies and Malaysian large corporations in promoting the growth of infrastructure, oil and gas, oil palm and real estate business.
Datuk Lee is an Independent Director of Pacific Mutual Fund Board. He has been appointed as Advisor to the advisory board of the Secretariat for the Advancement of Malaysian Entrepreneurs ("SAME") in the Prime Minister's Department since April 2015. |
