He was the Group Managing Director from 1983 to April 2004 and was subsequently redesignated as Executive Chairman and Director.He was the President of the Malaysian Pulp & Paper Manufacturer Association from 1980 to 1992 and is currently one of the Advisors of the Association. He was the President of both Associated Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry Malaysia (ACCCIM) from 1995 to 2003 and The Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KLSCCCI) from 1998 to 2003. He is now the Honorary President of both ACCCIM and KLSCCCI. |
