We, act for and on behalf of our client, Suremax.
We refer to the letter from the KLSE dated 1 August, 2003 (Reference No.: ME-030801-67074) and wish to inform that to the best knowledge of Suremax :-
1. There is no material development in Suremax's business and affairs not previously disclosed.
2. To Suremax's knowledge, there is no other reasons to account for the unusual market action.
We also wish to inform that to Suremax's knowledge, none of the situations/events as listed in the aforesaid letter contributed to the unusual market action activities in Suremax's shares during the period in question and Suremax is not aware of any rumour report (whether true or false) which contains information which is likely to have an effect on the trading of Suremax's securities.
