In response to the Exchange's letter dated 25 July 2000 pertaining to the aforesaid matter, we set down below the additional information for public release:-

1. BCB Berhad ("BCB") has entered into a Sales and Purchase Agreement with DTSL Holdings Sdn Bhd ("DTSL") on 16 November 1999. The sale of the said bungalow to DTSL was completed upon final payment made by DTSL to BCB on 2 June 2000.

2. The cost of the bungalow as at 30 June 1999 was RM1,274,597.00. The cost was arrived at based on progress claim from the subcontractors to BCB as at 30 June 1999.

3. The cost of the bungalow was RM1,803,955.00 as at 30 June 2000.

4. The gain arising from the said disposal was RM270,463.00

Query Letter Contents :

We refer to your announcement dated 21 July 2000 in respect of the aforesaid
matter.
In this connection, kindly furnish the Exchange with the following additional
information for public release:-
1) The date when the Sale and Purchase Agreement was signed.
2) The net book value of the Property based on the latest audited accounts.
3) The original cost of investment in the Property to BCB and the date of
investment.
4) The expected gains or losses arising from the disposal.

Kindly furnish the Exchange with your reply within two (2) market days from the
date hereof.
