We refer to your letter dated 25 July 2007 and to the article which appeared in the New Straits Times, Biznews, page 47 on Wednesday, 25 July 2007.
MRCB is in the midst of negotiation with CIMB-Mapletree Real Estate Fund 1 for the sale of a parcel of land known as Lot A of the Kuala Lumpur Sentral development.
We wish to confirm that no agreement has been signed yet as at to-date and assure Bursa Securities that MRCB will make the appropriate and timely announcement to Bursa Securities as and when there are matters which require immediate announcement in accordance with the Bursa Securities’ Corporate Disclosure Policy.

We refer to the above article appearing in the New Straits Times, Biznews, page
47, on Wednesday, 25 July 2007, a copy of which is enclosed for your
reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined sentence
which is reproduced as follows:-
"Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) is selling a 601,259 sq ft building to
CIMB-Mapletree Management Sdn Bhd's private real estate fund."
In accordance with Bursa Securities' Corporate Disclosure Policy, you are
requested to furnish Bursa Securities with an announcement for public release
confirming or denying the above reported article in particular the underlined
sentence after due and diligent enquiry with all the directors, major
shareholders and all such other persons reasonably familiar with the matters
