We refer to the letter from Bursa Securities dated 16 July 2007 and to the article which appeared on page 1 of The Edge of the even date.
We wish to confirm that we have not at this present time entered into any contract to build the Butterworth transport hub, a component project of the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER).
We will make the appropriate and timely announcement to Bursa Securities as and when there are matters which require immediate announcement in accordance with the Exchange Corporate Disclosure Policy.

We refer to the above article appearing in the The Edge, page 1, on Monday, 16
July 2007, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined sentence
which is reproduced as follows:-
"Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) has secured the contract to build the
Butterworth transport hub, a component project of the Northern Corridor
Economic Region (NCER)...."
" ......the total project value of the hub could reach a whopping RM1 billion."
