We refer to the announcement dated 13 May 2016. Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (“MRCB” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has today received a Letter of Acceptance from Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (“MRT”) awarding MRCB the contract for Package V210 of the MRT Line 2 SSP project. Package V210 involves the construction and completion of a viaduct guideway and other associated works from Persiaran Apec to Putrajaya Sentral. The contract price of the works package is RM648 million. The contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the Group. None of the Directors, substantial shareholders and/or persons connected with a Director or substantial shareholder of the Company, have any interest, direct or indirect, in the contract. |
