Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (“MRCB” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that MRCB International Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of MRCB, has incorporated the following new subsidiaries in Australia on 8 August 2016:

(i)   MRCB Australia Holding Company Pty. Ltd.; and
(ii)  MRCB Project Carnegie Pty. Ltd.

The issued and paid-up share capital of each of the subsidiaries is AUD2 comprising 2 ordinary shares of AUD1 each.

The incorporation of the new subsidiaries is not expected to have any material effect on the Group’s earnings or net asset for the financial year ending 31 December 2016.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or person connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the said incorporation.
