Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (“MRCB” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it had on 29 August 2013 received a Letter of Award from Department of Irrigation and Drainage to carry out “Projek Pemuliharaan Muara Sungai Pahang (Fasa 3), Daerah Pekan, Pahang” (“the Project”). The contract sum of the project is RM130.0 million. The construction period is 24 months and to be completed by September 2015. The Project is an extension by 368m in length of the breakwater constructed earlier under the “Projek Fasa 2 Bagi Pembinaan Pemecah Ombak Di Kuala Sungai Pahang, Pahang” Project. The Project is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the Group. None of the Directors, substantial shareholders and/or persons connected with any Director or a substantial shareholder of the Company, have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Project.
