In view of the Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing enforcement of the Movement Control Order (“MCO”) by the Government of Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had vide its letter dated 16 April 2020, granted among others, an extension of time until 30 June 2020 for listed issuers to issue their annual reports that include the annual audited financial statements, and the auditors’ and directors’ reports which are due on 30 April 2020. 

With the extended MCO, the Company wishes to inform that its Annual Report for the financial year ended 31 December 2019 will be issued on or before 30 June 2020, as granted by Bursa Securities on the basis that the extended MCO is uplifted within the time frame as announced.

In addition, the Companies Commission of Malaysia had vide its Practice Directive No. 6/2020, granted an extension of time for a period of 90 days for public companies to hold their Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) by lodging an application to the Companies Commission of Malaysia. The 90 days’ period will be effective from the date the AGM was supposed to be held.  In the case of the Company, the extension of time will be up to 28 September 2020.

The Board of Directors will determine and announce the appropriate date to hold the 46th AGM of the Company.  The Annual Report and Notice of the 46th AGM of the Company will be issued in due course.
