The Perisai Group today owns a fleet of oil & gas vessels and facilities capable of supporting the exploration, development and production phases of offshore oil & gas fields. Our Group focuses on the two (2) core segments namely offshore drilling and offshore production.
Drilling Division – owns one (1) Jack-Up Drilling Rig, Perisai Pacific 101; and
Production Division – owns one (1) Floating Production, Storage & Offloading (FPSO) vessel, Perisai Kamelia. Our Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU), Rubicone was disposed of in June 2019.
The other two (2) divisions are the Offshore Support Vessel (“OSV”) Division and the Offshore Construction Division. Under the OSV Division, the Group owns nine (9) Offshore Support Vessels (OSV), comprising three (3) anchor handling tug supply vessels, three (3) anchor handling tugs and three (3) crew boats. Derrick Lay barge, Enterprise 3, previously owned under the Offshore Construction Division has been disposed of in July 2019.
In line with our Group's focus on the Production and Drilling segments, Perisai entered the FPSO business segment in 2013 through the successful acquisition of equity interests in companies owning and operating a FPSO. The FPSO, Perisai Kamelia which has completed its' contract with Hess in May 2017 is currently laid-up in Tompok Utara, Johor and is available for redeployment.
In addition, our jack - up drilling rig, Perisai Pacific 101 successfully concluded her maiden contract with Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (“PCSB”) in May 2019. The Perisai Pacific 101 is currently contracted to PCSB for the Samarang drilling campaign which commenced in Sept 2019.
