Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 11 March 2019.  

The Company wishes to announce that the Court of Appeal has fixed 29 August 2019 as the hearing of the following appeals filed by its wholly owned subsidiary, HCM Engineering Sdn Bhd (“HCM”) on 29 October 2018 against Kuasatek (M) Sdn Bhd ("Kuasatek") in respect of the adjudication proceeding initiated by Kuasatek against HCM:-

1. The decision of the Kuala Lumpur High Court dismissing the Originating Summons filed by HCM to set aside the Adjudication Decision dated 4 July 2018 obtained by Kuasatek with costs; and

2. The decision of the Kuala Lumpur High Court allowing the Originating Summons filed by Kuasatek to enforce the said Adjudication Decision with costs.

AND THAT the Kuala Lumpur High Court has fixed the following dates in respect of the legal proceeding filed by HCM against Kuasatek on 11 March 2019, claiming the sum of RM3,087,917.74 for breach of contract by Kuasatek:-

1. It had been fixed for mediation at the Kuala Lumpur Court Mediation Centre on 7 August 2019 wherein the parties failed to reach an amicable settlement.

2. It has been fixed for case management on 3 September 2019 for the parties to inform the Kuala Lumpur High Court on the outcome of the mediation held on 7 August 2019.

3. It has been fixed for full trial from 6 April 2020 until 9 April 2020 and on 13 April 2020.
