As previously announced on 25 August 2020, Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun’s has filed an application to strike out the Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No.: 22NCC-362-09/2014. The said application was heard on 27 August 2020 and dismissed by the High Court Judge on 10 September 2020 with costs of RM25,000.00 to be paid by Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun to Protasco Berhad.

The next case management of the Kuala Lumpur High Court Suit No.: 22NCC-362-09/2014 is fixed before the High Court Judge on 30 November 2020. The High Court Judge further fixed this matter for trial on 22 - 26 February 2021 and 1, 2, 5, 9 - 12 March 2021.

Further as previously announced on 27 August 2020, the motions for leave to appeal to the Federal Court against the judgment of the Court of Appeal dated 6 March 2020 (appeals in relation to Bankers’ Books (Evidence) Act 1949) were granted by the Federal Court on 25 August 2020.

The appeal to the Federal Court is fixed for case management via e-review on 26 October 2020.
