As previously announced on 10 December 2020, Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun have filed an appeal to the Court of Appeal against the decision of the High Court Judge dated 10 September 2020 in dismissing their application to strike out the Kuala Lumpur High Court Civil Suit No.:22NCC-362-09/2014. As announced, the said appeal is fixed for hearing at the Court of Appeal on 23 June 2021.
On 19 January 2021, the Company was served with an application filed by Tey Por Yee and Ooi Kock Aun for an order to stay the proceedings at the Kuala Lumpur High Court Civil Suit No.:22NCC-362-09/2014 pending the disposal of their appeal at the Court of Appeal. The Company wishes to announce that the said application for a stay of proceedings is fixed for hearing before the learned High Court Judge on 2 March 2021. |
