Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 31 March 2022 and 25 April 2022.

As previously announced on 11 March 2019, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, HCM Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“HCM”) has filed a legal suit at the Kuala Lumpur High Court against Kuasatek (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“Kuasatek”) (“Legal Proceeding”) and the Court had on 30 March 2022 ruled the Judgment (“Judgment”) on the Legal Proceeding in favour of HCM.

The Company wishes to announce that Kuasatek had filed an appeal at the Court of Appeal to appeal against the Judgment of the High Court on 30 March 2022 (“Appeal”).

The Hearing date for the Appeal is yet to be fixed by the Court of Appeal.
