Vantris Energy Berhad (formerly known as Sapura Energy Berhad) (“Vantris Energy” or “the Company”) refers to the recent announcement by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (“MACC”) concerning the planned forfeiture of funds related to Company, allegedly misused by an undisclosed party in 2018. 

We wish to clarify that Vantris Energy is not the subject of any MACC investigation, and we have not been informed of any allegations against the Company or its current officers or directors. We wish to assure our clients, partners and stakeholders that our operations and financial activities, including access to our assets and bank accounts, remain unaffected.  

As a responsible corporate entity, Vantris Energy has fully cooperated with the MACC in the past and remains committed to providing any further assistance required by the authorities.

Vantris Energy has a strict Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and has implemented internal controls and procedures to manage and mitigate such risks effectively.
