We wish to announce that Logic Square Sdn Bhd (“Logic Square”), a subsidiary of Sunway, had on 15 January 2014, applied to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) for striking off pursuant to Section 308 of the Companies Act, 1965.

The CCM had replied via its letter dated 14 July 2014, which was received on 25 July 2014, enclosing a notice informing that at the expiration of 3 months from the date of the notice, Logic Square’s name will, unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the register by the CCM and Logic Square will be dissolved.

Logic Square is a dormant company which was incorporated on 27 April 2001. The authorised and paid-up share capital of Logic Square are RM100,000/- and RM2/- respectively.

The striking off of Logic Square has no material financial effect on Sunway.

None of the directors or substantial shareholders of Sunway or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the aforesaid striking off.
