SUNWAY - Notice of Book Closure

Special cash dividend of RM0.26 per ordinary share of RM1.00 each in Sunway Berhad ("Sunway") to all the entitled shareholders as at 5.00 p.m. on 2 October 2015 ("Special Cash Dividend").

Kindly be advised of the following : 

1)  The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex – Dividend” as from: 30 Sep 2015
2)  The last date of lodgment : 2 Oct 2015
3)  Date Payable : 16 Oct 2015

Remarks :- Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein has the same meaning as those defined in Sunway's circular to shareholders dated 3 April 2015 in relation to the listing of Sunway Construction Group Berhad on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Listing"). The Special Cash Dividend arose from the proceeds raised from the offer for sale of 398,705,400 SCG Shares offered by SunHoldings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway, in conjunction with the Listing on 28 July 2015, after setting aside for listing expenses and working capital. Any new Sunway Shares to be allotted pursuant to the exercise of the outstanding Warrants and ESOS options and shareholders of Sunway whose name appear in Sunway's Record of Depositors on the entitlement date for the Special Cash Dividend shall be entitled to the Special Cash Dividend.
