We wish to announce that the shareholders of PT. Sunway Quarry Indonesia (“PT Sunway”), a 95% owned subsidiary of Sunway, have commenced a voluntarily winding up proceedings on PT Sunway, a dormant company.

PT Sunway was incorporated on 7 May 2008 in Indonesia with an authorised and paid-up share capital of USD2,000,000 and USD500,000/- respectively. PT Sunway has not commenced operation since its incorporation.

There are no material losses or effects on the net assets per share and earnings per share of Sunway Group arising from the abovementioned liquidation.
