We wish to announce that SunwayTrek Australia Pty Ltd (“STA”), a subsidiary of Sunway, had on 26 August 2016, applied to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (“ASIC”) for deregistration pursuant to subsection 601AA(1) and (2) of the Corporation Act of Australia.

The ASIC had notified via its letter dated 2 November 2016 which was received on 8 November 2016, that STA had been deregistered on 2 November 2016.

STA is a dormant company which was incorporated in Australia on 2 July 2012. The paid-up share capital of STA is AUD351,653/-.

The deregistration of STA has no material financial effect on Sunway.

None of the directors or substantial shareholders of Sunway or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the aforesaid deregistration.
