We wish to announce that Sunway City Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway, has commenced a voluntary winding-up proceeding on Sunway Crest Sdn Bhd (“Sunway Crest”), its 100% owned subsidiary on 23 January 2017 as Sunway Crest has been dormant.

Sunway Crest was incorporated on 12 May 2001 with an authorised and paid-up share capital of RM500,000 and RM250,000/- respectively. Sunway Crest has not commenced its operation since its incorporation.

Sunway Crest has appointed Mr Ong Lai @ Ong Kong Lai and Mr Wong Cham Mew of Unit C-20-5, Block C, 20th Floor, Megan Avenue II, No. 12, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, 50450 Kuala Lumpur as its liquidators for the purpose of the member’s voluntary winding-up.

There are no material losses or effects on the net assets per share and earnings per share of Sunway Group arising from the abovementioned liquidation.
