We wish to announce that Pembinaan Objektif (M) Sdn Bhd (“Pembinaan Objektif”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway, had on 6 January 2017, applied to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) for striking off pursuant to Section 308 of the Companies Act, 1965.

The CCM had replied via its letter dated 12 April 2017, which was received on 28 April 2017, enclosing a notice informing that at the expiration of 3 months from the date of the notice, Pembinaan Objektif’s name will, unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the register by the CCM and Pembinaan Objektif will be dissolved.

Pembinaan Objektif is a dormant company which was incorporated on 23 November 1994. The issued and paid-up share capital of Pembinaan Objektif is RM100/- comprising 100 ordinary shares.

The striking off of Pembinaan Objektif has no material financial effect on Sunway.

None of the directors or substantial shareholders of Sunway or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the aforesaid striking off.
