The Board of Directors of Sunway wishes to inform that Sunway has made an application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") to reclassify Sunway from Properties sector to Trading/Services sector. 

Bursa Securities has via its letter dated 5 June 2017, approved Sunway's sector reclassification from the Properties sector to Trading/Services sector with effect from 9.00 a.m., Friday, 16 June 2017. The Stock Number and Stock Short Name of Sunway's shares remain unchanged.
