We wish to announce that pursuant to Chapter 9, Paragraph 9.19(23) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Sunway Holdings Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway has on 10 October 2017, acquired 1 ordinary share, representing 100% of the total issued and paid-up share capital of Bidara Cahaya Resources Sdn Bhd ("BCRSB”) for a total consideration of RM1/-. 

BCRSB was incorporated on 9 August 2017 and its issued and paid-up share capital is RM1/- comprising 1 ordinary share. Its intended principal activities are manufacturing and marketing of concrete related products.

None of the directors or substantial shareholders of Sunway or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the aforesaid acquisition.
