Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the announcement dated 29 January 2019 (“Announcement”).
We refer to our Announcement in relation to the Sukuk Programme.
The Board of Directors of Sunway is pleased to announce that on 20 March 2019, STSSB has successfully made its first Islamic Commercial Papers (“ICPs”) issuance of RM300.0 million under the Sukuk Programme following the fulfilment of all conditions precedent of the Sukuk Programme. The ICPs have been issued at a profit rate of 3.90% per annum subject to the terms of the ICPs.
The ICPs issued by STSSB will not have any impact on the share capital, net asset per share, earnings per share, or the substantial shareholding structure of Sunway Group.
