We wish to announce that Sunway Pipe Inspection and Repair Services Centre Sdn Bhd (“Sunway Pipe”), a subsidiary of Sunway, had on 1 October 2012, applied to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) for striking off pursuant to Section 308 of the Companies Act, 1965. Sunway Pipe had on 17 July 2013, received notification from CCM via its letter dated 1 July 2013, enclosing a notice informing that Sunway Pipe had been struck off the register by the CCM and had been dissolved. Sunway Pipe is a dormant company which was incorporated on 23 May 2003. The authorised and paid-up share capital of Sunway Pipe are RM100,000/- and RM2/- respectively. The striking off of Sunway Pipe has no material financial effect on Sunway. None of the directors or substantial shareholders of Sunway or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the aforesaid striking off.
