Description	SUNWAY BERHAD ("SUNWAY") - STRIKING OFF OF AMALAN INSAF (M) SDN BHD, A SUBSIDIARY OF SUNWAY PURSUANT TO SECTION 308 OF THE COMPANIES, ACT 1965
We wish to announce that Amalan Insaf (M) Sdn Bhd (“Amalan Insaf”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway Holdings Sdn Bhd which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway, had on 28 November 2012, applied to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) for striking off pursuant to Section 308 of the Companies Act, 1965. The CCM had replied via its letter dated 22 July 2013, which was received on 5 August 2013, enclosing a notice informing that at the expiration of 3 months from the date of the notice, Amalan Insaf’s name will, unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the register by the CCM and Amalan Insaf will be dissolved. Amalan Insaf is a dormant company which was incorporated on 29 November 1994. The authorised and paid-up share capital of Amalan Insaf are RM100,000/- and RM1,000/- respectively. The striking off of Amalan Insaf has no material financial effect on Sunway. None of the directors or substantial shareholders of Sunway or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the aforesaid striking off. This announcement is dated 5 August 2013.
