We refer to our announcements dated 29 June 2018, 3 July 2018 and 16 July 2018 in relation to the proposed participation and investment of Sunway Holdings Sdn Bhd in a venture capital fund, namely Sun SEA Capital L.P. (“Sun SEA LP”).

We wish to announce that the Registrar of Limited Partnership, Cayman Islands had on 3 August 2021, approved the striking off of Sun SEA LP from the Partnership Register pursuant to Section 37 of the Exempted Limited Partnership Act (as Revised) of Cayman Islands with effect from 30 September 2021.

Sun SEA LP was been registered on 6 July 2018 as an Exempted Limited Partnership in the Cayman Islands. Sun SEA LP has ceased to carry on business and has no asset and liability.

The striking off of Sun SEA LP has no material financial effect on Sunway.

None of the directors or major shareholders of Sunway or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the aforesaid striking off.
