We wish to announce that the Registrar of Companies of the Cayman Islands had on 6 August 2021, approved the striking off of Sun SEA Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway Holdings Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway, from the Companies Register with effect from 30 September 2021 pursuant to Section 156 of the Companies Act (Revised) of the Cayman Islands.

Sun SEA Ltd is an exempted company incorporated in the Cayman Islands on 23 May 2018 and has an authorised and paid-up share capital of USD50,000.00 and USD1.00 respectively. Sun SEA Ltd has ceased to carry on business and has no asset and liability.

The striking off of Sun SEA Ltd has no material financial effect on Sunway. 

None of the directors or major shareholders of Sunway or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the aforesaid striking off.
