Description	SUNWAY BERHAD ("SUNWAY") - STRIKING OFF OF SUNWAY MALL SDN BHD, A SUBSIDIARY OF SUNWAY PURSUANT TO SECTION 308 OF THE COMPANIES, ACT 1965
We wish to announce that Sunway Mall Sdn Bhd (“Sunway Mall”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway City Sdn Bhd which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunway, had on 14 December 2012, applied to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) for striking off pursuant to Section 308 of the Companies Act, 1965. The CCM had replied via its letter dated 15 August 2013, which was received on 27 August 2013, enclosing a notice informing that at the expiration of 3 months from the date of the notice, Sunway Mall’s name will, unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the register by the CCM and Sunway Mall will be dissolved. Sunway Mall is a dormant company which was incorporated on 16 December 2010. The authorised and paid-up share capital of Sunway Mall are RM100,000/- and RM2/- respectively. The striking off of Sunway Mall has no material financial effect on Sunway. None of the directors or substantial shareholders of Sunway or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect in the aforesaid striking off. This announcement is dated 27 August 2013.
