We refer to our earlier announcements dated 12 October 2012, 22 October 2012, 6 November 2012, 20 November 2012, 19 December 2012, 18 January 2013 and 5 February 2013 in relation to the Civil Suit. We are pleased to update that in respect of the Applications which were fixed for decision today, 22 February 2013, the Court had allowed the Defendants’ Application to Strike-Out the Plaintiff’s Statement of Claim with costs. Following from the above decision, the Plaintiff’s Application to enter Judgment in Default of Defence and the Defendants’ Application for Extension of Time were rendered academic and accordingly struck out by the Court.
