We refer to the article entitled "TH May Sell Riau Estates" which appeared on page 2 of the Star Biz on 19 October 2012 ("the Article"). We wish to confirm that TH Plantations Berhad ("THP") does not own the Riau Estates mentioned in the Article. However THP Agro Management Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of THP is the management agent for the Riau Estates. The Riau Estates is 95% owned by Lembaga Tabung Haji and 5% owned by PT Primasakti Rizki Pertiwi, an Indonesian company. This announcement is dated 19 October 2012. | |
