Description	AEON CO. (M) BHD. ("AEON" or "the Company") - Legal proceeding initiated by AEON against D’Aseania Mall Sdn. Bhd. (“D’Aseania”) and Aseania Development Sdn. Bhd. (“Aseania”) among others to accept the repudiation of the Agreement to Lease dated 17 February 2006 (“the Agreement”) and Infrastructure Agreement dated 17 February 2006 and to recover all outstanding sums due and owing by D’Aseania to AEON (“AEON’s Legal Proceedings”)
Reference is made to the announcement dated 14 June 2011 and 15 July 2011 in relation to AEON’s Legal Proceedings. The Board of Directors of AEON wishes to announce that AEON has entered into a Consent Judgment with D’Aseania and Aseania (AEON, D Aseania and Aseania is/are hereinafter referred to as “Party” or collectively as “Parties”) on 9 May 2012 as Parties have reached an amicable settlement/agreement in respect of the disputes among the Parties earlier. Based on the Consent Judgment, all Parties shall withdraw all suits, claims, counter claims, actions, appeals and cross appeals against each other within 14 days from the date of the Consent Judgment. The Board of Directors of AEON is of the opinion that the above shall not expect to have material financial impact to the Company. This announcement is dated 10 May 2012.
