| Working experience and occupation | Tan Sri Dato' Seri Shamsul Azhar bin Abbas served Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) for forty years in various capacities and key positions, including his last held position as the President & Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS from 2010 to 2015, prior to his appointment as the Group Chairman of MMC Corporation Berhad on 16 July 2015. He was also the President/Chief Executive Officer of MISC Berhad from July 2004 to December 2008 and Chairman of MISC Berhad from February 2010 to August 2011. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Shamsul Azhar was the Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) and was a member of Board of Trustees of Razak School of Government (RSOG). He also served as the Chairman of the National Trust Fund of Malaysia. He is also currently a Board member of Enra Group Berhad and NCB Holdings Berhad. |
