The Board of Directors of Sapura Energy Berhad (“SEB” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd (“SOSB”), has on 25 February 2022, been served with a Winding-Up Petition dated 21 February 2022 (Shah Alam High Court Winding-up Petition No. BA-28NCC-119-02/2022) and the Affidavit Verifying Petition dated 22 February 2022, respectively (the “Petition”) by Icon Offshore Group Sdn Bhd (the “Petitioner”).
