Subsequent to our announcement dated 17 March 2022, the Board of Directors of Sapura Energy Berhad (“SEB” or “the Company”) wishes to clarify that the following wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company (“Subsidiaries”) were served with Winding-up Petitions (“Petitions”) on the following dates:

1. Sapura Fabrication Sdn Bhd (“SFSB”) was served with a Winding-up Petition (Shah Alam High Court Winding-up Petition No. BA-28NCC-145-03/2022) and the Affidavit Verifying Petition dated 3 March 2022, (the “Petition”), taken out by Posh Subsea Pte Ltd (the “Petitioner”) via its Advocates & Solicitors, Messrs. Shaikh David & Co on 9 March 2022.

       2. Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd (“SOSB”)

           2.1 Served with a Winding-up Petition dated 4 March 2022 (Shah Alam High Court Winding-up Petition No. BA-28NCC-146-03/2022) (the “Petition”), taken out by Lincoln Energy Sdn Bhd (the “Petitioner”) via its Advocates & Solicitors, Messrs. John Yong & Irene Song on 9 March 2022.

          2.2 Served with a Winding-up Petition (Shah Alam High Court Winding-up Petition No. BA-28NCC-144-03/2022) and the Affidavit Verifying Petition dated 3 March 2022, (the “Petition”), taken out by Semco Salvage (V) Pte Ltd (the “Petitioner”) via its Advocates & Solicitors, Messrs. Shaikh David & Co on 9 March 2022.

      3. Sapura Project Services Sdn Bhd (“SPSSB”) served with a Winding-up Petition dated 28 February 2022 (Shah Alam High Court Winding-up Petition No. BA-28NCC-139-02/2022) and the Affidavit Verifying Petition dated 1 March 2022, (the “Petition”), taken out by Danamin (M) Sdn Bhd (the “Petitioner”) via its Advocates & Solicitors, Messrs. Shook Lin & Bok on 7 March 2022.
