The Board of Directors of Sapura Energy Berhad ("SEB" or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Company is proposing to change its name from "SAPURA ENERGY BERHAD" to "VANTRIS ENERGY BERHAD" ("Proposed Change of Company Name").
 
The Proposed Change of Company Name is subject to approval being obtained from the shareholders of the Company at an Extraordinary General Meeting to be convened at a date to be announced later. The Proposed Change of Company Name, if approved by the shareholders, will take effect from the date of issuance of the Notice of Registration of New Name by the Companies Commission of Malaysia.
