INTRODUCTION
Vantris Energy Berhad ("VTEB" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, namely VTEB Offshore Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Sapura Offshore Sdn Bhd) ("VOSB") has been awarded as described above.
The combined value of the above is approximately RM 1.8 billion; and the details thereof are summarised below:
A. AWARD OF WORK ORDER FOR THE PROVISION OF TRANSPORTATION AND INSTALLATION ("T&I") OF OFFSHORE FACILITIES FOR SK316 NC3/NC8 TRUNKLINE 7 FAC PROJECT.
VOSB has been awarded a work order for the T&I scope for SK316 NC3/NC8 Trunkline 7 FAC project under the existing contract for the Provision of T&I for Offshore Facilities for PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd ("Work Order 1").
The work under the work order will commence in the third quarter of the Company's Financial Year ending 31stJanuary 2027 and is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of the Company's Financial Year ending 31st January 2028.
B. AWARD OF WORK ORDER FOR THE PROVISION OF PRICE AGREEMENT FOR OFFSHORE T&I FOR PTTEP DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.
VOSB has been awarded a work order from PTTEP HK Offshore Limited and PTTEP Sarawak Oil Limited (collectively "PTTEP") under the existing contract for the Provision of Price Agreement for Offshore T&I for PTTEP Development Projects ("Work Order 2").
The works under the work order will commence in the third quarter of the Company's Financial Year ending 31st January 2027 and are expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of the Company's Financial Year ending 31st January 2028.
(Work Order 1 and Work Order 2 herein collectively referred to as "Work Orders").
The approvals from the clients for the release of information needed for this Bursa Announcement for the Work Orders were obtained on 24 September 2026.
FINANCIAL EFFECTS
The Work Orders are expected to contribute positively to the earnings of VTEB group of companies for the Company's Financial Year ending 31st January 2027 onwards and will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of VTEB.
RISK FACTORS
The Work Orders are subject to various risk factors, including but not limited to the changes in the economic, regulatory and geopolitical environment, as well as operational and execution related risks, in respect of which the Company will implement appropriate measures to manage and mitigate such risks, while maintaining its commitment to high standards of quality, health, safety, security, sustainability and environmental compliance.
DIRECTORS' AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS' INTERESTS
None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected with them have any direct or indirect interest in the Work Orders.
DIRECTORS' STATEMENT
The Board of Directors of VTEB is of the opinion that the acceptance of the Work Orders is in the best interest of the Company.
