| Working experience and occupation | Mr Liong has served as the Special Officer to the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of JcbNext Berhad ("the Company") since December 2012. Since January 2015, after the sale of the JobStreet.com business, in that capacity he has helped establish and continuously refine the investment processes for the Company and its subsidiaries (the "Group") including the overall investment and portfolio allocation strategy. Further, he has been primarily responsible for sourcing and analysing potential investments and then briefing and making recommendations to the Group's Investment Committee and Board of Directors.
Prior to the sale of the JobStreet.com business in November 2014, Mr Liong had served as the Special Officer to the CEO and as a Product Owner. In these roles, he had managed a team of software developers focused on the employer-side recruitment solution of JobStreet.com as well as assisted the CEO on strategic and corporate actions. |

The Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Mr Liong as Acting Chief Executive Officer ("Acting CEO") to be the successor for Mr Chang Mun Kee, the Group's Founder, who will be stepping down as the Group's CEO on 31 December 2020. Mr Liong has been the Special Officer to the CEO since joining the Group in December 2012 and since January 2015, he has been instrumental in the Group's investment activities. Mr Liong will assume the role of the Acting CEO with effect from 1 January 2021. |
