Reference is made to your query in the above article on Sapura's rumoured "fresh" bid for a stake in Time dotCom Berhad.

Please be informed that further to our announcement to the Exchange on 28 April 2000 in respect of our bid for a stake in time dotCom Berhad, further and better particulars on a bid were furnished to TIME Engineering Berhad for its board of director's deliberation.

As the more detailed bid furnished is not substantially different from that earlier announced, the Directors are of the opinion that no announcement in accordance with the rules of Exchange is necessary, it being the substantially one and the same bid.

We refer to the above news article appearing in Business Times, page 1 on
Saturday, 6 May 2000, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.

"Sapura Group submitted yesterday a 'fresh' bid for a stake in Time dotCom in
response to Time Engineering Bhd's invitation for a final and detailed
proposal. The new bid clarifies parts of the original proposal and includes a
