Your letter dated 5 June 2001 refers.
The Directors of Prime Utilities Berhad wish to inform that to the best of their knowledge, there is no majority owner of Supreme Annexe Sdn Bhd ("SASB") and its single largest shareholder holds 2,800,000 ordinary shares representing 28% of the equity interest.
In respect of the above, the Directors are not aware of any plans by the shareholders or "major" shareholders of SASB.

We refer to the above news article appearing in The Sun, Sun Biz Section, page
1, on Tuesday, 5 June 2001, a copy of which is enclosed for your reference.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the underlined sentence
which is reproduced as follows:-
" ... that the possibility of the majority owner of Supreme Annexe taking over
Prime Utilities is high."
