We refer to your clarification request on the above announcement.
On the first query, the consideration for the arrangement is as earlier announced, namely inter alia with a cash amount of RM250 million and not RM200 million as quoted.
On the second query, please be informed that if following the participation of a strategic partner in TdC and Khazanah still holds shares in TdC, the Sapura Group has an option to acquire such remaining shares within 3 years from the Completion Date.

We refer to the above news article appearing in The Star, Business Section,
page 1 on Wednesday, 12 July 2000.
In particular, we would like to draw your attention to the following sentences
of the above article which are reproduced as follows:-
" ......apart from the 2.36% stake in Time dotCom, Sapura was expected to
receive about RM200mil as final settlement of its loans to the Time group."
